Mila i Pablo. Part II.

Once the nervousness felt on the day of the ceremony had passed, the moment arrived to relax and enjoy with family and friends. Can Deu really is a place to remember where everyone helped to customise the terrace outside. It's the little details that help create a perfect atmosphere in which to hear about or tell the anecdotes of what happened on the day of the ceremony. The pivotal moment arrived with the Newly weds grand entrance. Its probably one of the moments I like the most to commemorate. Seeing everyones happy faces is something that makes me feel good.

Mila i Pablo. Part I.

It was a wedding that was spread over 2 days. Strangely enough, despite always living in Barcelona this was set to be my first wedding here. It is so flattering when people think of you in what is to be a day that will be remembered for the rest of their lives. The moment arrived, a "London cabby" took them straight from the door of their flat to the door of the Town hall of Barcelona, where the magnificent Saló de Cent (the main Hall) stood before us as a grand witness of their wedding. After the ceremony we finished of the day with a funny zombie walk that took place in the narrow streets of the barrio gótico in a quest for a sugary treat in the form of the best mug of hot chocolate (with Churros) in the reputable Dulcinea.

Abbi & Rob. Part 2.

My admiration for the effort that was put in to creating, from nothing, a spectacular atmosphere. Having the good fortune to be able reacquaint myself with a lot of people and to have the opportunity to meet many more. I feel so proud to form part of their family.

Abbi & Rob. Part 1.

It seems like it was yesterday when, 10 years ago, in the early hours of the morning we got on a bus destined for Brighton to escape the London night. Who would have though that after all that time Abbi would trust me to photograph her wedding. After a very emotional ceremony we set of on a little journey on board a bus that transported us to another era and that, very fortunately, stopped right next to a ice-cream van.

Blamcake.

Nearly a year has passed since Camille and Blake trusted me to photograph their wedding. I can still remember feeling the weight of the great responsibility that the decision held. I could hardly sleep the night before. Fortunately though, those fears disappeared at dawn which would mark the start of a long day (and night festivities) filled with a lot of emotion and small details that were very present in everything.
